Theme: MAKING WORDS COUNT
SEVHAGE Literary Festival 2015 billed to hold in Makurdi, Benue State, NIGERIA, will feature panels, critique sessions, spoken word and full night performances. It will be headlined by amazing writers and award-winning authors including: Chijioke Amu-Nnadi, Maria Ajima, Servio Gbadamosi, Bash Amuneni, Paul Liam, Saddiq Dzukogi, Ene Odaba, Seun Odukoya, Daisy Odey, Andrew Patience, Andrew Aondosoo Labe, Otene Ogwuche, Romeo Oriogun, Debbie Iorliam, Nelson Apochi (Reading4Change), T. J. Benson, Sibbyl Whyte, Celina Kile, Sam Ogabidu, Pever X, Maik Ortserga, and Anselm Ngutsav.
There will be three sessions to the event for the two days. The morning sessions (PANELS 9-12am) would largely be panel sessions on different topics; the afternoon sessions (CRITIQUE 1:30-3:00pm) and evening sessions (PERFORMANCES 5:00pm).
Panel sessions will include discussions on writing, publishing, breaking rules of retardation, and politics amongst others.
Prior to the start of the literary activities on the 16th, from Monday to Thursday, there will be visits to orphanages, prison, libraries for donations of books and interaction.
It will be loads of fun and one of the coolest events in the area for the year.
