THE MAGIC PEN (a poem) by Iwuese T. Tilley-Gyado

Imagine the world like canvas,

The sketch made ready and the paint mixed,

A slight mistake and the work is marred.

We the artists mourn over our masterpiece,

We cry out and wish,

Praying for a miracle.

It comes in the form of the magic pen.

A brush and the work is corrected.

All our mistakes erased away and made whole again.

Sketched and painted back,

The masterpiece restored.
